In Italy, two of the most popular forms of companies are the Societ\u00e0 a Responsabilit\u00e0 Limitata (SRL) and the Societ\u00e0 a Responsabilit\u00e0 Limitata Semplificata (SRLS). This means that the shareholders are not personally liable for the company&#8217;s obligations beyond their share of participation. Typically, the company is established by two or more shareholders. The SRLS is similar to the SRL in that both companies are limited liability and are subject to supervision by the Revenue Agency and the Chamber of Commerce.<\/span><span
